STRADA provides learning and development opportunities to over 300 people per month. Our website is the primary means by which we communicate with our customers. Southside Technology worked closely with us to design and build a highly bespoke IT system which fully incorporates all our needs. They helped us to create an online booking system that is flexible, reliable and, most importantly, easy to use. Feedback from our customers has been

One of our specific requests was to have a responsive and interactive reporting function to enable office staff to readily collate and analyse activity data in real time. This has significantly improved the ease with which we can generate reports for a variety of purposes.

The webcams at CairnGorm Mountain are a vital part of our promotional activity because they provide an immediate, and changing, image of what conditions are like in a way that words simply cannot do. It’s not unusual for more than 12,000 hits to be recorded in one single day from people who want to see for themselves what conditions are on offer and reliable technology is critical to our operation.
Our latest web cam - an Axis 213 PTZ (Pan, Tilt Zoom) - was supplied by Southside Technology and is located on the trainer tow at the Ptarmigan ski area. Attached to the Poma Pylon but controlled remotely, it has a 340° pan facility and a -10° to + 90° degrees tilt facility which, along with its 26 x Optical Zoom and 12 x Digital Zoom, allows it to deliver images that change every 10 seconds from across the entire Ptarmigan Bowl, one of our most popular skiing areas.
As this new camera is our only outdoor remote-controllable, pan, tilt and zoom camera, its reliability must be assured and Southside Technology provides us with that comfort. As a result, the quality images of CairnGorm being shown around the world are able to speak for themselves... Ian Whitaker
